‘HURUMA ILIGEUKA MVUKE’: UCHAMBUZI WA SITIARI ZA HISIA KATIKA KAZI ZA FASIHI YA KISWAHILI

Katika lugha ya kawaida na lugha ya kifasihi tunatumia sitiari nyingi zinazotusaidia kuelezea yale mambo dhahania ya maisha, kama vile hisia, ambazo ni ngumu kufahamisha na kuelezeka vinginevyo. Katika fasihi ya Kiswahili tunapata picha nyingi za sitiari zinazoelezea mambo ya kihisia. Suala la kinachowasilishwa na sitiari na tuzichukulie vipi, ni mjadala unaoendelea na ambao unalinganisha asili ya sitiari na matumizi yake ya kimtindo katika fasihi. Katika muktadha wa fasihi, tunajiuliza swali hili: je, ni nini kinachotofautisha misemo ya sitiari za kifasihi na zile nahau zinazotumika katika lugha ya kawaida? Lengo la utafiti huu ni kuchambua misemo ya sitiari inayotumika katika lugha ya Kiswahili, ili kutambua zile sifa za lugha za kipekee ambazo zinaunda ‘creative blends’ za lugha ya kifasihi. Makala hii inazingatia uchambuzi wa hisia katika lugha ya Kiswahili, hasa kwa kuangalia kwa undani mifano ya sitiari zinazolenga dhana ya ‘joto’. Katika uchambuzi unaofuata, nitaonesha mifano kadhaa kutoka kongoo lililoundwa hasa na nathari za kisasa za Kiswahili.
